I see your post is over 2 years old. How did your search end? I see you had many really good responses. It'd be interesting if people that had previously posted could give an update. Maybe it would at least give some of us a little hope. Lol.
Hope you are living the dream!

I'd like to find someone with a green thumb. I'm on 140 acres in the high plains of NM. I could meet in Pueblo, if you'd be interested.

I have 140 acres in middle of nowhere NM. Completely off-grid. Do yoi have a greenhouse thumb? I can supply your own space.

It can be difficult to find a partner if you keep a narrow age gap and unwilling to consider relocation. As you have probably discovered, not many people want to homestead.
I thought I had someone, but about 3 weeks after buying acreage she decided she didn't want to live this way. I've been doing what I can by myself for 6 years now and starting to tire of doing it alone.

My mind is lost for words. All I can think of is wow!
This is an amazing post. I purchased 140 acres in Harding County, NM. No, I'm not in the desert. If NM is a place you might see yourself or trying making a go of it, I look forward to hearing from you.
Also I'm not against relocating back east.

140 acres/56.6 hectares in Harding County, New Mexico USA. Finding someone, a partner, a friend, almost anyone that wants to actually live off-grid is tough. Good luck in your venture, but if New Mexico would be of interest, I'd look forward to hearing from you.

I'm on 140 acres in Harding County, NM. I don't need to be your Huckleberry or your Hunny. But it would be nice to have a partner and a friend to build with.
I tried attaching pictures but kept deleting my message. So after writing this for about the 10th time, I'm sure to be missing pertinent information as well as a photo.
But if New Mexico could be of interest let me know and I'll try again to get you photos and answer any questions you may have.

How is the venture going? I see this is an old post but it is near the top when I open this site. I would definitely like an update and see how your off-grid venture is going.
I've been at it for almost 6 years now. 140 acres in NM.
Still an awful lot of work to be done here. Many days I just don't have enough hands. Lol. If you started your build you may have experienced this as well.

We spoke once for a few minutes before my phone cut out. I tried calling back, left a message, never heard back, and that's okay. But you pop up everywhere, on so many sites, even FB for people you might know.
Really, what is your story?

Where are you looking? is this a worldwide interest? considered Portugal?

Look up my posts.... 2,5 acres (10250 m) water well and house with all the tools.... just leaving it here

Good luck on your search

I'm curious on your place in Portugal. You're just leaving it? Abandoning it to do something different. I was just curious after reading this posting.
