This is great! While reading this my thoughts went back to our current systems in place.

Mass Heaters (MHs) need an industry (an official group of people/companies who are committed to helping further MHs.) This could be a temporary group that would for a more permanent group.

This industry could create a few work groups:
1. One work group to create code regulation standards to be submitted to the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association).
2. Another work group could create training materials for helping entry-level and heating professionals understand how to install and maintain MHs
3. Plus we cannot forget a work group to create a network of Mass Heater Professionals (MHP), which would include individuals and companies. This network would be the ones you would want to help sell or evangelize MHs.

soaked 1 cup for this project and also in the picture I soaked another cup for another project.
added 1.75 cups of water to the rice
cooked the rice in the solar cooker.
The rice turned out alright. The top layer was starting to brown, because I had not been watching it through out the day. Even though I was not watching the rice the rice turn out great.
1 cup rice uncooked
2 cups water.
brought to boil and cooked for 30 mintues and let sit for 10 minutes.
blended a bunch of Comfrey
tried to use as little water as possible with my blender. The bender started to blend the Comfrey when I added about 1 cup of water.
followed a recipe from one of the videos, so I added some flower to the comfrey, which also was about a cup.
I will be trying other ways, because I found this was to wet.

Scientific Name: Verbascum thapsus
Common Name: Mullein
Part of plant: Root
Location: backyard, Siloam Springs AR
Harvest Date: 8/22/2022
Dry Time: 8/22/2022 3 PM - 8/25/2022 8 AM
Drying location: 120 degrees for 3 hours, then 100 degrees for a couple days. Just started using a new dehydrator that has a timer, so this took a little longer because of that.
Drying Method: Electric dehydrator.

The method I used to make the decoction.
- 1/2 to 1 ounce (1 to 4 tablespoons) of dried herb.
- 1 1/2 pints of cold distilled water.
- soak in the water up to 12 hours.
- slowly bring it up to a boil
- simmer between 10 and 30 minutes.
- let cool.
- labeled and stored in fridge.

We have plenty of Lemon Balm growing around the property and it is time to cut it back after receiving a bunch of rain over last couple weeks.
