My name is Nama and I am interested in sharing my land with like minded individuals who want to build and create with me. I too am in my 50's and originally from the UK. I have recently purchased 4 acres of forest land bordering between Senegal and The Gambia. The land is 30 min from the Gambia.

My intention is to live completely off grid and cultivate a food garden/forest. The land has plenty of drinkable water (solar powered) and an empty newly built house. There is great opportunities for the right individual(s).

I just joined the Permies community and happy to see so many people wanting to return to the land. Just read your post and if you don't mind relocating, it would be a great idea to share my beautiful land in Senegal, bordering The Gambia (20 minutes away from The Gambia).

I have recently purchased 4 acres of land and intend to cultivate a food forest; but in the meantime I am working on planting vegetables so I can be self sufficient.

I am living off grid and have plenty of drinkable water on the land and a newly built house. I love the fact that you are ready to leave the rat race and return to nature. I have a house and plenty of drinkable water (solar power) on the land; with lots of space for you to build a tiny home.  I also have my own transport, so we can get around very easily.

The land is very close to the nearest village; where you can top up your data and purchase food. The local people are friendly and very helpful.
