Will do, Matt.  I believe I looked.  The only negative is that NJ taxes are high.

Feel free to email and maybe we can chat.

Never give up!!!

I have the mindset that everything happens for a reason.  It's meant to - even if you don't understand it right now.

While I put up a post to find someone, I'm more or less looking for a companion.  If there is love there, great.  If not, I would love to have a great and meaningful friendship.  I have friends who I love deeply.  And yet I see so many people in a love-less relationship (or marriage).

Water, food and safety keep you alive.  A loving relationship keeps you happy.

I have given up on a partner.  I am looking for happiness.  If it comes along as a friend or lover, either will be cherished.

Best of luck to you.

Hi Larry,

I just found this site and am also looking for a homestead partner-in-crime.  I'm 53 with no children - two pups.

If you are still looking, please feel free to reach out and I can share more about myself.

Hi Niles,

I'm 53 and do not have children, but two dogs.  I've been researching and planning for a homestead.  I'm finally ready!  I have some skills (gardening, greenhouse, chickens, goats and even some herbal medicine background.  Safety and security were part of my career.

If you're still interested and would like to chat, please feel free to reach out.  Best of luck to your in your adventure!!

"Mountain man" caught my attention, then the cute pup.  Haha!!

I  am 53 and starting my homestead adventure after several years of researching and planning.  I have good skills...I took wood shop in the 8th grade.  I also have a healthy sense of humor (wood shop is true).

I'm currently on my family's property, but this is used for farming.  Feel free to connect and I can share a little more with you.

Hi Rodney,

I just found this site recently.  I'm looking for someone to share THE dream with.  I just now did a post.  I'm 53, educated and have some great homesteading skills.  I'm a reader so I've been preparing for this venture over the last eight years.  I've been buying tools and equipment and feel like I'm a chicken expert - although I've never owned them before.  Haha!!

If you would like to connect, please feel free to reach out.
