Heating Greenhouses using Rocket Mass Heaters with Uncle MUD ft. Paul Wheaton

Uncle Mud (aka Chris McClellan) raises free-range, organic children in suburban Ohio. He has been using natural building as his soapbox to preach self-reliance and community empowerment, since 2004. Building houses, pizza ovens, and woodstoves with mud and junk is his way of sharing the Can-Do spirit. He writes, teaches workshops and hosts a mud pit and DIY building demonstrations at Fairs across the US. unclemud.com

This would be a good place to post your question as a new topic: https://permies.com/f/260/rocket-mass-heaters

You can see some good rocket plans on this page of ours: https://freeheat.info/free-heat-plans/

You might be interested in the Tiny House Cob Rocket Mass Heater, for example.

Judy, Here's a link to my fireplace install of a Liberator Rocket Heater into an existing fireplace using a standard stainless steel chimney liner. I have since installed a mass bench for this unit but I don't have any video of that install. I'll see if I can get some.

Switching from electric heat to a rocket mass heater reduces your carbon footprint as much as parking 7 cars
