yes


Mini Splits -    

yes


In Ground Heat Pump -    

yes


Central Natural Gas Furnace -      

yes


Central Propane Furnace -    

yes


Pellet Stove -    

generally yes


Wood Stove -    

generally discouraged due to smoke and chimney fire issues


Modern wood stove -

Still discouraged, but less so if it is UL listed


Masonry Heater -    

generally yes


Rocket Mass Heater -  

sometimes and also when allowed as a subtype of masonry heater
