This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Plumbing.

In this Badge Bit, you will make a water wheel to generate some power.  Flowing water has been used for ages to power stuff.  Let's try that ourselves!

Here's a guy with a cool one.  It doesn't generate power yet but you can see how he'd do it:

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
  - build a water wheel and install it
  - homemade
  - at least 4' diameter
  - provides usable power - electrical, mechanical, pumping, etc

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
  - some of the parts you're building it from
  - construction underway (several times during the construction)
  - finished water wheel
  - installed and working
  - evidence of useful power being generated
