This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Electricity.

In this Badge Bit, you will convert a motorcycle or dirt bike to run off of electricity.  Have an old Harley laying around?  Let's make it electric!

Here's a video of a cool project:

Minimum requirements to get this BB
  - street legal
  - 20 mile range
  - conversion kits are ok
  - must be a conversion from gasoline/petrol to electric drive

Points
  - also earns 8 points of Metal Working (Iron)
  - also earns 5 points of Tool Care (Wood/Iron)

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than ten minutes):
  - the motorcycle you're starting with
  - the engine removed or as disassembled as it's going to get
  - the battery pack, motor and other major components
  - the battery pack installed
  - the motor and drive installed
  - finished views of everything
  - video (sped up) of driving the bike for 20 miles
