This is a badge focused on increasing your experience with multiple forms of obtaining an income that is sustainable and aligned with permaculture principles. By developing income streams in advance of owning a homestead, you are dedicating energy now to sustain your activities later. A strong showing in this badge will indicate you arrive with an existing income and that you are dedicated to earning money through your permaculture efforts. The ideal is that you can remain on the land inherited from an Otis working to improve it rather than having to spend 40 or more hours weekly away. It stands as proof that you will use what you inherit rather than cashing it out.

Develop a possible residual income stream that brings in at least $10 per year
Perform some sort of labor over the internet and get paid at least $60
Do 2 of the following tasks (must include clear
permaculture values)
