This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Animal Care.

Guinea fowl are small flocking birds that you can raise and eat!

It's important to learn not just how to properly harvest a guinea fowl, but why it matters.

There is a heap of good information about how to maximize nutrition, minimize cruelty, and increase efficiency in the process. Here is some useful information:
- Practical Slaughter of Poultry
- Tips for Plucking Game Fowl
- Raising Guniea Fowl: a Low Maintenance Flock
- Raising Guniea Fowl - Expert's Guide
- Raising Guniea Fowl 101: a Beginner's Guide

For this BB, the minimum requirements are:
-Start with 1 Live Guinea Fowl
-Killed in a humane manner
-Processed and either prepared or properly stored within an hour

To document your completion, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
-Living Guinea Fowl
-Guinea Fowl after slaughter, depicting the method used
-Organs separated into suitable for human consumption / not suitable for humans consumption, next to guinea fowl feathers
