For this BB, you will control flies with
permaculture!
For this BB, the minimum requirements are:
- Including but not limited to:
- Horseflies
- House flies

- Black flies
- Sand flies
- Not
- Bug zappers, fly paper,
soap sprays or any kind of spray
- Pre-requisite BBs

- Create 6 more dragonfly habitats

- Remove fly specks
- Select for
cattle that don’t attract flies
- Sell/eat fly attractors, breed fly-free cattle
- Attract/encourage two types of spiders
- Use paddock shift to break fly breeding cycle

- Plants that deter flies (wormwood, mint, etc)

- Plants that attract predatory insects, arachnids and/or wasps

To document your completion, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
- state which
four fly control measures you will implement
- before, during, and after construction/implementation of each of the
four fly control measures you select to implement
- Prove your efforts mitigated flies. Do one:
- Have a “control” patch and document results during the time of year when flies are a problem. Maybe counting fly specs or using fly paper to measure flies over time.
- Document one year without and one year with controls, same time of year
