This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Greywater and Willow Feeders.

For this Badge Bit you will conduct short experiments with willow candy.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
Conduct experiments with 7 different willow candy cans
One can is the control, and receives no treatment
The other six cans receive a different treatment:
       added composting bacteria
       mycelium (your choice)
       red wiggler worms
       earthworms
       black soldier fly larvae
       your choice for one other
you may add water or aerate as you see fit
just make sure that no liquid touches the ground and flies are not able to get in or out
   all cans are clearly labeled
Examine and log each can every two weeks for twelve weeks
Describe how decomposition is different between each of the seven cans
new height of material in can
       temperature
       flies or other visible life
       description

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must show proof of the following (as pictures or a video < 2 mins):
 - show before, progress, and after of conducting each short experiment with willow candy
 - demonstrate that it meets the above requirements
