This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEA curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Gardening.

Ideally, you will be doing this with vermicompost, but if that isn’t possible, using another homemade compost is acceptable. Compost teas give a hydroponic shot of nutrition to the plant, making it available to the plant right away. On a large scale, it can do wonders for a garden. Even in this smaller scale, the principle remains the same.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
Make a vermicompost tea (preferred) or compost tea (from homemade compost).
Use it on your own container(s).
Monitor growth afterward.

To document and become certified for this BB provide photos or video (less than 2 minutes) showing the following:
- Show the vermicompost or compost you are using
- Action shot of yourself making the tea
- Show the tea being used on the plant(s)
- Show the plant after several weeks.
- Explain any improvements or changes in the plant.

Worm tea! While I'm adding these radishes to micro greens.
It may be a bit strong for seedlings I don't see much change to my micro greens yet. Oct
