Two cups of white rice (washed three times), four cups of water, and one teaspoon of roasted chicken base.
I was happy with how it turned out but it didn't have as much chicken flavor as I expected.

Cooked
It's never too late to start gardening, and even the smallest project is worthwhile.

So here's a new 2c grain in the rice cooker as a thought for PEA or PEX. I like the cook the same grain 4 different ways as a hey try this out you might find it is awesome! But on a homestead I see people using one way to reliably get dinner on the table so spice it up with you can cook more than rice in the rice maker. This is a mix of 9 grains ground like steel cut oats. I'd count this as"1"new grain. I have another mix that is 6 grains ground like rolled oats. While some of the seeds overlap the cooking time and water would be more like rolled oats so would count as 1 new grain as well. I live in Seattle so it's going to be a while before I can try solar anything. Also I will have to build a rocket stove before I can cook any dutch oven to put in a hay oven for the other bb.
I cooked quinoa in my Instant Pot tonight. I started with 1 cup of quinoa and toasted it for a minute on Saute before switching to the pressure cook function.

Ashley Cottonwood flagged this submission as an edge case BB. BBV price: 0 Note: a picture of your cooked grain in your cooker (clearly at least 2 cups of cooked grain)
I wasn't sure how to prove that it was 2 cups of cooked grain IN the cooker. Here's a photo after removing it from the Instant Pot, some in a 1 cup measuring cup and more than that still piled next to it. Will that work?

At the BB20 event at WL, Trent cooked rice to share. He started with just shy of 6 cups of dry rice in the rice cooker (which turned out to be too much for the cooker, but a good amount to share). In the last photo, he's showing the amount of cooked rice still in the cooker and in a bowl for the rice that wouldn't fit in the cooker anymore.
