Summary

The main focus of Microclimatic Landscape Design is about working with and creating microclimates for people in the landscape. It is an excellent resource for anyone interested in naturally improving their surroundings, both indoors and outdoors.
This textbook style book covers both the science and math, and also the design, of microclimates. It is full of information useful in a wide range of climates and landscapes covering solutions relating to microclimatic issues such as cold, heat, humidity, wind, and rain. While it is written mainly focusing on improving peoples comfort, it is also great for the study of microclimates to be applied to planting areas. On my bookshelf, I consider this book the ultimate compliment to David the Good's Pushing the Zone.

I give this book 10 out of 10 acorns.

If we don't do the shopping, we won't have anything for dinner. And I've invited this tiny ad:
