LEARN HANDS-ON ABOUT HOW TO BUILD A SUSTAINABLE AND REGENERATIVE WORLD.

Rizoma Field School is located in Uruguay, and offers in-person, and online learning opportunities around homesteading, and sustainable living.

We want to consider how to find a way for humans to live well while
making the Earth healthier and more habitable, both socially and ecologically.

Rizoma's approach is 4-pronged:
Research, Teaching, Activism, Living

Rizoma publishes research around the adoption of sustainable technologies, social structures, and communities of practice, using accessible language so as to make sustainable lifestyles appealing and accessible to all. They use their platform on Twitter to generate discussion amongst diverse communities, with the common goal of living well, and sustainably, while making the world a better place.

Rizoma brings together teachers from various backgrounds to offer students a broad curriculum including homeschooling, food preservation, woodworking, sustainable self-care products, disaster preparedness, livestock care, and more. Their courses are offered online, and on-site in Uruguay.

Their work to spread knowledge of sustainable living is supported by their activism, and way of living. Using low technology, permaculture, and regenerative animal agriculture, Rizoma demonstrates the ability to live sustainably, while not sacrificing quality of life.

Right? So cool!
Their upcoming home economics 101 course sounds super fun. Seems super comprehensive for a 101, but still accessible. I might have to go for it if I have time.
