This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Building.

Fido was cute as a puppy.  Now that she's 90 lbs and it's raining outside, let's consider giving her a place to sleep outside.  Let's build a dog house!

Here's a couple making a nice dog house from pallet wood.  I wish they used wood for the roof as well:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a very small house to protect a dog, or:
        - Well house
        - Sprinkler protection box
        - Box to hide a utility or other ugly thing
        - Faerie house
        - Play house
        - Etc
  - 90% natural materials by weight (plywood isn't natural)
  - Roof sheds water
  - At least 2' by 3' footprint
  - Includes an open door or a hinged access door/panel

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The materials you're starting with
  - Construction underway
  - Finished little house
  - If the unnatural materials you used are anywhere near 10% of the build, spell out the reason why you fall within the 90% natural requirement

I'm so happy! And I wish to make this tiny ad happy too:
