This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Round Wood Woodworking.

Sometimes a garden calls for a raised bed.  Now that you have some experience with trees and logs, let's practice making a really short log cabin.  Perhaps one that looks kind of like a raised garden bed!

And here's what we're looking for:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a log raised bed
  - Saddle joints on all corners
        - Any traditional log cabin style is ok as long as it locks the corner in place
  - At least 3' by 8' bed interior dimension
  - At least 18" high
  - At least 3 logs high on all sides
  - No gaps between logs greater than 1.5" to keep soil in

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - Logs you're starting with
  - Working on a saddle joint
  - Bed midway through construction
  - Finished bed

So you made a portal in time and started grabbing people. This tiny ad thinks that's rude:
Switching from electric heat to a rocket mass heater reduces your carbon footprint as much as parking 7 cars
