This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

Did you just get a scroll saw for Christmas???  You can do some nifty projects with that piece of equipment.  Let's make a block of wood into a jewelry box!

Here's one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a jewelry box from a large piece of wood (glued up pieces is fine)
  - Drawers and recesses are all from that same piece of wood (as in the photos above)
  - At least three drawers
  - Use an electric scroll saw and/or band saw for most of the cutting

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The lumber you're going to use for this project
  - Midway through the project
  - Completed jewelry box
