This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Dimensional Lumber Woodworking.

Carrying dirt around one shovel load at a time is slow going.  Let's build a wheelbarrow out of wood!

Here's a gentleman showing us one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a wheelbarrow or garden cart
  - At least three sides and a bottom to hold stuff
  - Comfortable looking handles
  - Capable of holding 100 lbs of stuff without breaking
        - Show proof if it isn't obvious
  - Homemade natural finish if desired
  - Wheel and axle do not need to be wooden

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - The lumber you're going to use for this project
  - Midway through the construction process
  - Completed wheelbarrow

catch it before it slithers away! Oh wait, it's a tiny ad:
