Join us this coming Saturday, February 1st, at 10 AM Mountain to listen to Paul and guests discuss strategies for growing enough food to feed your family.

Here are some things the discussion might touch on:

- growing enough calories
- sunchokes
- perennials : will feed your family 10 years in the future
- in other words: what to grow
- plant what you'll eat
- don't let the food go to waste
- some things take a lot of commitment (like milking a cow:)
- variety in what you grow, preserve, store
- storage crops: short term (one winter: potatoes, onions, squash etc), mid  term (what last longer than a year??) and long term: wheat berries, flour corn etc
- start small if you are a beginner (don't plant all 20 acres!)
- primary, secondary, tertiary gardens (maybe you only fence the primary one at first)
- start by growing food to feed only one person (or less) if you are a beginner

The link to the YouTube live will be posted in the private PIE forum.
