Don't you want to see it before making big plans around it?

Haha! Story of my life.  I've only seen the Zack Weiss half of the freebies so far.  I'm already super excited and thinking about waaaaaay-over-my-head, purpose-driven-business plans.

Thanks for the support!

With the download stuff:  please be sure to respect my copyright and not make copies.  I only mention this because it seems your intent is to share.  I think sharing the view with you in the room is good.   That's the way respecting with digital works.

Well, it says so where the imbedded video should have been, in every single thread of those I've tried so far (except for the very first one I tried) both from the PDC and ATC.

For instance here: https://permies.com/t/67300/Day-Session-Instant-View-Wheaton

I have loaded up the privacy settings for that video.

Where can this video be embedded?

Only on sites I choose
Enter the domains you want to allow this video to appear on ()

permies.com

Everything seems okay.

Digging through the setting to see if anything seems wonky and i am not seeing anything.

Let's see if your browser has gone wonky.   If you are using chrome, try firefox (or vise versa) and see if that changes anything.  If so, it is possible that cookies (or something) has become corrupted.

This is seriously great content! 15 hours in (allthough while multitasking) I am very happy I decided to drop the coin for access. I recommend it to anyone that is sitting on the fence.

One question, though: There are references to the course notes that should be on a private forum on permies. Do we onliner's get access to those notes?

The kickstarter supporters did get that.

They are available for sale here and here.

Would like to upgrade to the tiny download of ATC but am blackballed by PayPal (long, very unpleasant story about the power of THE MAN, or in this case, THE NOT-MY-(pay)PAL).
Any payment options available besides paypal?
Thanks!

Don't you get the option to pay with credit card without logging in to paypal?

Nope.  Blackballed.  "Your credit card couldn't be processed.  Please try another card."
When I contact the bank, they say PayPal never even attempted a transaction.  It's killed before exiting PayPal's system.
So, it's something in their system that forbids my cards even if I don't login etc.  Have cleared cookies/cache etc - no joy.
I've been dealing with this for several months and haven't been able to locate anybody who could explain it much less fix it.  Even had a face-to-face w/a PayPal "rep" in Phoenix who simply regurgitated the "help" response for that error.
THE MAN is trying to keep me DOWN!
In the mean time, please holler if there's another way to purchase the tiny download.
Thanks!
Andy

Bitcoin?  Amazon gift card?

Basically, whatever the amount is plus $10 for manual processing.

About three years ago we did the kickstarter.   People the supported our kickstarter paid $100 for access to the video of the PDC and ATC.   I think it was a superstar lineup of instructors and the content is excellent!   I think $100 for this content was crazy freaky cheap - which is why the kickstarter was a massive success.

I like the idea of being respectful to the kickstarter supporters by making sure that the price does not drop for at least one year.  For one year after the kickstarter I offer the product to non-kickstarter people for a higher price.   And then I drop it to about the same price thinking "the kickstarter people got a LOT of bonus candy with their purchase".  And when enough time passes I think it is okay to knock the price down a bit to infect more brains with this content.

The price for the full 177 hours has been dropped to $65.

Hello, I would love to help fund the empire to infect more brains but apparently I can't right now because I live in the UK. I have previously bought downloads, is the US only policy a temporary or a permanent thing? Many thanks.

Hilary,

If you could just contact all of the nations outside of the US and tell them to stop imposing their wack-a-doodle VAT shenanigans on us, then we will change that setting!  As is, we used to host this stuff on scubbly - and they went out of business because of the VAT stuff.

Thanks for getting back to me. Bother. With only two days of my quarantine left I'm just not sure if I'll quite have time...  but hey! getting a response from the Duke of Permaculture and overlord of these forums has brightened my morning.

Question about the VAT stuff. If someone buys gift codes, can those be given to anyone around the world?

Can everyone around the world get dailyish freebies?

Yes - because it is a gift, my understanding is that VAT does not get involved with that.

Yes, because they are free, VAT does not get involved with that.

I seem to have access to this thread from the 'My Stuff' area,  but not to the threads this thread links me to(the ones with the videos or discussion of videos). "Oooops.. You don't have sufficient privileges to access this forum" whenever I click on them from here.  Love everything you all do here. Keep up the fresh ideas!

J R Megee wrote:I would like to rent this for a friend. How do I go about doing that?

Hi JR!  Been a while!

Well, we put a lot of work in setting up the rental stuff, only it hasn't really paid off.   We were hoping hundreds of people would jump on the rental stuff - but it has been closer to 6 people.

Currently, there is the gift stuff for all the DM stuff.  That works well and people use it!  But it is limited to purchases instead of rentals.

If the rental stuff did better, I could see doing the work to connect the rental stuff to the gift stuff.  But it is not set up now.

So then I told Joseph Stalin to piss off! Remember that tiny ad?
