Hope you turned of geotagging when you took the photo wouldn't want the embedded coordinates to reveal your secret spot. lol

Naw, man, there's plenty of catfish in the river ๐Ÿ™‚ That's Citadel Bluff county park on the Arkansas river. It's about 30 - 35 miles east of Fort Smith and about 4 miles west of Ozark.
There's a boat launch, outhouses and a short pier. It's pretty much been abandoned. It gets mowed maybe once a year and the camp area is an overgrown mess. If I win the lottery I'm gonna buy it and turn it into a park again, but under better management. There's about 200 acres to the park and it's kinda remote. Just the way I like it!
There's about a 60' sheer rock wall over looking the campgrounds and river, hence the name. A creek through the park feeds the river.
I normally set up where the creek meets the river. I caught some nice blues there the other evening. It's a great place to build a smudge fire to keep the skeeters off, catch a few fish and tell a few lies ๐Ÿ™‚ You're welcome to join me anytime.

I was feeling a bit paranoid about this when I was making posts with photos. I uploaded a photo with geotags in it, then downloaded it from the site to see if the info was still there. The info appeared to be gone, at least based on my file sleuthing skills. I'm guessing that Permies scrubs it when they store photos, but would need site staff to confirm.

The spot is super nice though! Even having coordinates wouldn't tell you how to get there if GMaps didn't have a path for you.

Thanks, saves me the time of looking at the reflection in the water and triangulating the coordinates based on the location of the clouds relative to satellite weather data.
