My guess would be about the same time as for the World Domination Gardening" Streaming version is made available or something like that.

We are pulling the information together now to share with olivier. We might have it to him as early as today. And then olivier might have to folks as early as a few days.

I think that everybody that paid for streaming now has streaming. The only people that don't are the people that have not yet provided us with their vimeo stuff. There is a thread in the "secret inner circle forum" for that.

The DVD printer now has the three DVDs, the cover art and the DVD art. More news on timeline when we get it.

For those that have seen the DVDs via streaming, what do you think?

During the kickstarter we made it pretty clear that the streaming would be available much earlier than the physical DVDs. Is there anybody that bought the physical DVDs and is thinking that they would be glad to part with $20 to get the streaming version also? We're talking about setting things up to handle that if there is enough interest.

If you bought just the DVDs and you would be willing to part with $20 to get the streaming also, please give this post a thumbs up.

So the streaming version is up and running!

To check it out, please

Does it work okay? If you pay, can you see all three of the DVDs?

It is important to me that the folks that supported the kickstarter get far more candy than the folks that wait. So, to be clear, people who supported the kickstarter, paid less plus:

- access to the micro documentary
- access to the secret inner circle forum
- name listed in the "thanks" stuff
- name listed in the micro documentary
- heaps of podcasts
- access to the three day workshop in march(*)
- got the streaming version two weeks earlier

(for future kickstarters, I hope to make the kickstarter deal even sweeter)

(for those folks that supported the kickstarter to get the physical DVDs - they are at the DVD printer now)

(*) depending on the number of people that actually want to come and other factors.

Not sure if its my connection or Vimeo, but the trailer keeps pausing. Cable Internet.

It seemed like some sort of buffering issue or something.

I like the new preview!!

All of vimeo does that for me. Extremely annoying. But until now I thought i was the only person with this problem.

I usually hit the pause and let it cache a bit. Does that help for you?

2 things:

After viewing the trailer it says:
POND - VOD
$65

and it's all little confusing. You might think it's $65 for just 1 DVD about ponds. It's not till you scroll down that you can see that it's $65 for all three and POND is just the title of the first one.

The other thing is that I thought you had made a terrible error and were repeating the part about Bart recording the workshop and editing it. But no, you were talking about a completely different workshop. I'm not sure if the wording was exactly the same but see if anyone else is confused by that.

I had no problem with vimeo because despite my crazy off grid home I have probably got just about the fastest residential internet in the country (fiber optic) due to the stimulus of '09.

Yeah I restarted from the beginning and that seemed to help...just another reason why copper should be replaced with Fiber Optic, recycle the copper and replace with Fiber!!!

Exactly my point!!! I am sooooo envious of your Fiber. I am trying not to be angry with Telecos and Cable companies...I need some of Paul's zen

I don't want to get too OT but there are some downsides to fiber optic. Unlike copper, it needs power 24/7. There is a backup battery which lasts 8 hours. After that you wont have internet or phone. It seems every year part of the state gets blacked out for several days. Not an issue for me but I sort of wish they hadn't ripped up the copper which could have been a good back up. Hey, I thought resiliency was the word of the decade?

All worked great for me. The production quality is way up over 'dizcuvr fyr' Which I own on hardcopy. Kudos!

In the remote reaches of our wifi, I had to pause and let the trailer cache a bit, but then it worked beautifully. Well done Paul and Bart! Lovely trailer!

I think the trailer is great. Vimeo is always stuttery for me and I figure it is for most people - just pause and let it buffer and come back after awhile...

I do have a question. You talk about the 2nd workshop and the whole second round of DVDs but I am not clear that you are actually offering them or not? So if we get the DVD set for $65 then we only get the first workshop DVDs? I am unclear. Seems like you would not talk about the second workshop if it were not on the DVDs but ... I'm not always so swift on these things, so I'd rather ask than assume anything.

We have a big dream to put in ponds this year/next year on our property and it is on slope so we'll be doing terracing and damming - and I think I really really want to get this set of videos. It would be very cool if my lemon trees could move to living outdoors year round, too.

Great work, and clearly getting better all the time. Very impressed!

oh Groan.
Jocelyn, I just hit the button I thought would make a YES I like your comment and it made it from plus 1 to minus 1. You know, one day when I get born in a new body with eyes that work I won't keep doing this all wrong! Til then I will just need to get someone to give a tutorial on things I cannot read or understand - like 'look, Becky, this is the abc button. you cannot tell but it is a _____ and will _____ do not touch it. It is evil." or something... anyhow I didn't mean to say that. I MEANT to hit a button that said "nice comment, you're cool".

visual challenges are a real pain in the rear end sometimes...
*sigh*

Oh thank you. I knew it was easier than I had made it out to be. Hah. Cuz, that's a first!

Well, that was the easiest decision ever.

So long as I get the DVDs and not a stream - I'm off to order. These DVDs I gotta have.

Here's hoping a high pond at the very tip top of the property will encourage the deer to stay up there
and not come down here at all - heck, they can have their own pond. <irrepressible optimist> heh heh...

Yippee can't wait to get and have time to watch and tools and resources to implement - these!!!

Ok, back to the grindstone...

Or just how dense I am!?! <snort>

"you enter into a deep, romantic relationship with nature" - that almost sounds spiritual, Paul! And I like the sound of it!

I think you can call it spiritual or real or whatever you need to call it, but to me it sounds like a real description of what is really happening.

It surely is what happens to me as I engage the natural world in its own space around me more and more in this present and purposeful now moment.

And it returns me to the time before I was an 'adult' where this was my natural state of being and relationship. I didn't question it.

I only lost that unquestioning acceptance as an adult. Pity.

I don't seem to have access. Also, did my access to the RMH 2.0 series expire? Vimeo shows no videos in my VOD library.

I'm having a senior moment, so I need reminding, at the $75 level, I know we get the DVDs and the Pods, but does that include the streaming? I'm thinking not, but I wanted to make sure that's why I can't access it and not a glitch or something. Thanks!

You've sure come a long way from the "crappy video is better than no video at all", Paul. I thoroughly enjoyed the Wood Burning Stoves 4 DVD set; you guys did a great job putting that together! So, if anyone is wondering whether this new DVD set is gonna be worth it, I have no qualms in believing that it's most likely over the top! I certainly plan on getting my copy. Thanks for all the great work you guys do to make this stuff available to the masses!

Hi Lenn,
The 75 dollar level only gets the pods and the physical DVDS.

Vimeo streaming is doodoo. Also they have an Amazon FireTV app that is junk too.

The videos are awesome!

That's what I thought. Thanks for the response.
