system oddness

For the last few days I have been trying to post using Quick Reply but it has bugged out every time. last time was (Feb 9, 2013 8:08:45 PM). Have also had trouble not being able to log in with my username but my email works ok. Sorry for double post.

Hi...posted an inquiry on rocket stoves radiant heating for my camper about 15 minutes ago, but it doesn't show up. Could you let me know if it takes a while for the post to show-up, or if you received it at all, please?

Just now I updated Adobe Flash, and this message board stopped working in Firefox. I tried clearing my browser history and restarting Firefox. Still did not work.

I'm presently in Chrome.

I'll try a couple more things to see if I can get it to work in Firefox.

Ok, now seems to be working again in Firefox.

Weird....

I don't know that this falls under system oddness, at least not so far as
changes go. However, I have noticed that often I get an email that a topic I
am watching has a new message. If I should like to add my own comment, I
need to login. Now because the message I am reading is at the bottom of the
page, I have to go to the top of the page to login. (I don't always read my
mail on a machine I can leave logged in to permies) Is it possible to add a
link at the bottom of the page to login as well as at the top?

Otherwise I have noticed no odd things. Using firefox as installed by
default on both UbuntuStudio 12.04 and 13.04alpha. (Linux and should be the
same for ubuntu vanilla and other ubuntu based distros)

Ok, up until just now... I wen to Submit this message and got directed to
the login page which I just came from before I typed this message.

OK, this is probably the wrong place to post this, but help! I have been organizing my pictures in photobucket to make them more manageable. Unfortunately, it broke the links to a lot of the pictures I have posted in my Cliff's permaculture projects thread. I figured no problem, I'll just edit my posts, and relink the pictures. The problem is I don't seem to have anyway to edit my older posts, so I can't put the pictures back in. Is there anyway I can relink those pics???

Clifford, I can't help you myself, but I'd start a fresh thread in this forum.
