This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the Wood badge in Traditional Skills.

Traveling over long distances in the winter can be a chore.  Maybe if we tied some dogs to a sled we could cover snowy ground easier?  Let's try to make a dog sled!

 
 

Here's one way to do it:


Minimum requirements:
  - Make a dog sled
  - Sized to be pulled by a team of dogs
  - Designed to flex
  - No metal would be a nice touch but not required
  - This bb can only use materials that existed 200 years ago

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - Some of the materials you're starting with
  - Several stages during construction of dog sled
  - Finished sled from three angles
