I was thinking though that the general design might work really well as an indoor heater as well as oven. I would imagine the outside gets warm to the touch, but not too hot to touch... just what a good heater does. Just add a flue in front of the door.
Thank you for the compliment. The exhaust is on the opposite side of the rocket so I get a nice cross draft. I made the chimney removable so that it can be capped if need be.
It's a great idea but I don't think that it gets hot
enough on the surface to double as a heater because it's insulated quite a bit. Of course if you wanted to use it as a heater just use less or no insulation, however that would make it a less efficient oven.
