A heat transducer....? I have no idea what to call it, but its cool that it can exploit lowering resistance to heat loss by selective radiation. A reverse selective absorber like solar thermal absorbers.
Always cool when a materials arrangement can do work without moving parts. High technology if it is practical and works.
