I would really like one of these but only if they will really produce fruit in a pot in a situation where they will have to live in a green house for part of the year. does anyone have any experience with them?
It may be possible to grow it in a greenhouse. If you don't have artificial heat, maybe you could put two black-painted 55-gal drums on either side of it, to absorb and release heat.
I googled the Julia variety, and it is supposed to be the best. But when they say 'dwarf', they mean 15-20 ft tall, although they say it can be pruned to be smaller.
whoa! definitly would have to keep it pruned! exellent links, thanks. I think I might just give it a shot once i get a green house up. the thought of luscious mango that I grew myself is just too tempting.
