We found a ton of these creepy crawlies underneath some rocks that border our garden. Something suggests harmful to me. They’re maybe 3/4” long, and they just..... squirm.

Sorry for the poor picture,  but it was the best I was able to capture. My first thought was army worm, based on the clustering and stripe.

Any help appreciated!

European crane fly larvae i think, lucky you! They eat these useless lawns and become flying birdfood when they're done. Bird droppings feed your soil. Excellent news you have these!
