Registered dairy goat annual shots?

This year i bought a small herd of nigerian dwarf goats 3 does 1 buck and 1 whether. I have to construct a pen for the boys yet but since they are only a few months old its not a major rush yet. However i am getting supplies together as i go for all stages of milking to breeding and im pretty new to the backyard goats we always had weed control goats growing up but those where market bought mixes that we just kept for a little so this is my first real herd. What shots do i need to be giving them annually and i notice since they are registered i am part of the ADGA when people list them they list herd tested clean. How often do i need my herd tested how do i go about it, and what should i be giving them shot wise?
I treat them monthly with a wormer pellet i got from my local tractor supply and i use DE as well on there feed i give them (very little feed) and they have free choice of baking soda and minerals and i know my area is copper isnt the best so i am going to be giving them copper pills as recommended once they are old enough im keeping a very close eye to ensure they dont show any signs of copper loss.

Many goat people (including me) never give their goats any shots or chemical wormers.

The recommendations for chemicals are based on assumptions that the goat's food isn't kept off the ground, that they don't have the right minerals, and that the owner doesn't have the observation skills to notice problems early on.

There is also currently a mainstream culture of regular interventions for the sake of it, rather than observation and careful interaction considering long-term resilience and environmental outcomes.

The shot manufacturers also have a lot of lobbying and advertising power, which is another reason why many registered dairy goat associations are recomending this approach.

Everyone i bought a kid from this year had paper work with up to day shots to prevent illnesses and a clean bill for the herd to show no genetic issues with the herd. Seeing as these are registered and the price tag for a kid alone is 400$+ i want to ensure that im doing everything i can and need to, as for the wormer they are too young to give the copper pill to yet which help prevent worms and my area has iron water which can result in low copper so i am treating their grain snacks with DE and giving them a small treatment for prevention as they are still young and while their food is off the ground same as water and minerals they free range the grass and there are parasites in the ground you cant prevent them coming in contact with. Im just trying to get input from others that keep dairy goats on what i need to keep on hand or give annually.

No goat owner wants sick goats, regardless of how much they cost or whether they're registered or not.

In the end it is up to individuals to work out what is best for them and their herd. You have dealt with people that are doing things one way, and Permies is a good place to share other approaches. If I hadn't responded to this thread and you'd only received an answer recommencing particular shots, maybe someone reading this thread might be put off owning goats, as they'd be too worried about needing chemicals to prevent things from going wrong.

Copper works by correcting the goat's nutrition, to make them healthy enough to resist parasites, rather than as an anti-wormer itself.
