I received an email from somebody that wanted to get together to talk about rocket mass heaters. I then suggested a gathering of lots of folks interested in this sort of thing in the missoula area. He offered his house in east missoula as a gathering spot. Maybe there is something more central?
i have a tiny house and an incredibly icy driveway. but i do have big pots of soup available, as well as this beast in my living room (see attachment):
Although rocket mass heaters are for smaller applications they seem ridiculously more
efficient at burning less fuel providing more heat with less pollution so my question is
why is this design not being considered for LARGE applications as well?

Somebody suggested that we go around the room and introduce ourselves and I am now regretting that we didn't do that.
There was also a demonstration of a haybox cooker.
And there was a "pie cookie" that was delicious.
Tahj worked his butt off - and I think he might have missed a lot of the discussion while doing dishes and stuff. Seems like we shoulda had a way to mitigate that.
But we talked about a LOT of stuff!
