Our family has a tradition when it comes to Christmas gifts. We each draw a name and you make a gift for the person whose name you drew. The rules are fairly loose. You can buy materials, but the gift has to be something you made. I wanted to share the gift I received this year. If you look closely, the eyes are stones my brother polished himself and all the materials are things he picked up. Only glue was purchased.
It's never too late to start! I retired to homestead on the slopes of Mauna Loa, an active volcano. I relate snippets of my endeavor on my blog : www.kaufarmer.blogspot.com
