My rosemary start to have fews yellow leaves.

Hi I'm a newbie for planting rosemary from Thailand.

I have her for a month, and everything look fine, until yesterday, she started to have fews yellow leaves, which start from the tip. (Like in the picture)

I got rid of them, but she had a fews more yellow leaves today.

I'm worry about watering, so I cut down the water from yesterday. But, it's the beginning of Summer in Thailand, and temperature is 86-104 Fahrenheit, I also worry about under watering, also.

I have plant her on the balcony in the pot, and she get direct sun for 8 hours a day.

No fertilization has been done, and also prune. She is insect free, and very little Mildrew has been detected.

Fews days ago, I change my watering technique. At the beginning, I had watering her just around the soil, but I think it was cause of Mildrew. So, I change the method to watering her from the top, and let the water go through every leaves to the soil. The Mildrew has fewer significantly, but the yellow leaves come instead.

Do you have any suggestion??

I have already bought organic fertilization, but I saw in the internet that rosemary don't need fertilization that much, so I pause it for now.

My experience with rosemary is underwatering is better than overwatering. Try waiting till the soil is dry at the top, then water deeply. Also, they need good drainage so the roots don't rot, so check the soil is draining well. Sounds like it's getting enough sun.

Maybe it's just adjusting to its new location. Good luck!

Your plant looks OK, but a bit less water.  They like well-drained soil and heat.

Also, how big is the pot? I think rosemary doesn't stay happy for long in a pot, especially a small pot. So consider moving it into a larger pot, or into the ground.

Thank you for your suggestion. I also hope that she can adjust to Thailand's summer. It's quite extremely hot now, especially, in the late afternoon, compare to last month.

I will check the soil again tomorrow morning, and will update the situation.

The pot is approximately 25 cm x 25 cm in round shape. (The black one in the picture.) If I have to change the pot, does the white one (outer pot) is good enough?? Or, should I find the much larger one??

Your rosemary plant looks beautiful. If it were mine I wouldn't dare to change the pot quite yet, although maybe it is the right time to do so, I don't know.

Its pot should always have a hole or a few holes in the bottom. If there are no holes it is possible that the bottom of the soil fills up with water and kills the roots. I hope the plastic pot inside the white pot has holes.

There are many big holes at the bottom of both pots. And when watering, I take the small pot off from the big one, and let the excess water came out til the dropping stop.
