If we label the four social phases of transition from where we are as a society to a
sustainable level they could be Abundance, Scarcity, and Salvage with Sustainability being the fourth. You can read more about the

I want to talk about one of my endeavors in Salvage. It was a cool spring morning and I was driving through a
local town and we discovered a new consignment lot selling old tractors and farm equipment. I found an Oliver Cletrac Bucketloader that immediately caught my fancy. That night, I watched the Disney movie Wall-E for the first time. Somewhere in the middle of the movie, I was already the owner of that little
bucket loader and its name is Wall-E. It took a few days but the paperwork was completed and Wall-E was delivered. I decided to give my new bucket loader a paint job and complete several repairs.

WallE and I went to do some road grading and the transmission failed. Next up - a
complete transmission rebuild. The was daunting but would have been impossible without the help of the Oliver Cletrac Specialists at
Zimmerman Oliver Cletrac. Here is
Phase 1 of the repair with
Phase 2 in the spring of 2013.
Then the
track tensioning assembly needed a repair.
And now, we are able to move some dirt! I headed up to the main dining hall and moved some soil/dirt to the downhill side of our community dining hall to make a level area for outdoor cooking or dining.
