DIY Small seeds starting soil mix, environmental friendly

Does anybody know of a good and environmentally friendly soil mix to start small and light seeds in? (like chamomile for example, or other medicinals) THANK YOU
I read on perlite, vermiculite and prefer not to use them as they take a lot of energy in the production process, and of course no peat!

I use 1/3 coco-coir, 1/3 worm castings and 1/3 coarse sand.
It holds just enough moisture and also drains well.
