I’ve been a lurker on here for years, finally introducing myself.  My name’s Melissa.  Did my pdc in 2012.  Currently in North Idaho but looking to move in the next year to either Western North Carolina or New England (likely Vermont).  Would love some connections in either of those areas to let me know what you love and challenges while I weigh my options.

I raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, ducks, and garden biodynamically with my homeschooled second grader.  Picture of last year’s garden.

I love herbalism, foraging, nature crafts and connection.

May this find you happy and healthy.

hello and welcome! i’ve lived in western nc for almost 15 years, since i moved here from southern vermont. both areas definitely have their benefits and negatives!

i moved south for the longer growing season and more active local economy (granted there are many areas of western nc where the money isn’t!)...it turns out that cost of living is generally higher down here though.

Welcome, Melissa. Nice garden!

Whose rules are you playing by? This tiny ad doesn't respect those rules:
