Hi everybody. My name is Christian Shearer. I am a PDC course teacher and a permaculture designer, and I wanted to introduce to all of you the project that myself and three other permaculturalists have been working hard on for the last 8 months.

We hope that this platform proves to be a great tool for the permaculture community. Please come check it out, see what campaigns are already running, and know that the tool is available for you too if you ever find it to be the right tool for the job. And if you are up for it, like us on facebook to help spread the word!

Best to all!

Perhaps someone should suggest to Paul that he use this to get the rest of the cash he needs for his land, or to get the plans for the rocketmass heater projects out.

OK, maybe I'm just special, but what am I looking at? What is crow funding? Am I supposed to click on a link or something? How does this help me?

Greg, here is the link to their webpage.

http://www.wethetrees.com/

Crowdfunding is sort of like when you want to start a business and you go to the bank for a loan to start up. Except that you are asking other people to fund you as a crowd. Say everyone of the people you know gave you 20 bucks so you could buy the materials to build a rocket stove. It wouldn't take to long to get the money you needed.
So at the website you will see all sorts of people who are asking you to fund their projects.

What do you have to say for yourself? Hmmm? Anything? And you call yourself a tiny ad.
