The maypop is wild everywhere here and I use them on unproductive trees because they die to the ground each winter. They also do not outcompete with the trees. When I pull the vines out at the end of the season I dry the leaves for a nice calming tea.

After growing the nice big varieties and having to replant every year I got a few of the wild man pop passion fruit vines.
They hold on through the winter and start producing early in the next season.
My wife makes a tincture from the flowers to help her rest and relax before bed to me
