hope its not problem to change course here, but, I have aversion to non stick coated cookware because of PFAS.
are there any bread machines that are not coated with non stick surface?

YES, I would like to know this too.

I'm enjoying my current bread maker, but I worry when (because it's when, not if) the pan gets scratched, the pan feels like it's aluminium.

Right now I'm using a very soft silicone spatula for any scraping like prying out the bread or cleaning.  Experience says fingernails are too hard and can scratch these pans.

I would much rather have a stainless steel one.

I'm looking right now for one. All I have found is the choice between Teflon or ceramic non stick. One company (I think Sana) makes a stainless steel bread pan, but it isn't sold in the United. It's frustrating.
