I have not taken this course, but Flores' book "
Food Not Lawns" was one of my first introductions to Permaculture thinking. Besides the gardening/plants aspect of Permaculture, she wrote a lot in that book about responsible/sustainable lifestyle and energy choices, and much about social outreach as well. I know from her website that she has a particular focus on women in Permaculture, too.
And I believe that free course was the one that UK (Wales) Permaculturist Liz Zorab of Byther Farm (
https://bytherfarm.com/) took and very much enjoyed, as narrated in her book, "
Grounded".
You might try the very first lesson/topic/session and see if it and you mesh! You can only gain, not lose!
