Dear friends,
We live in uncertain times. The entire world is going through a difficult transitional period unprecedented in the history of mankind. Russia has become the world leader in terms of the number of sanctions imposed against it - more than 6000. The world war III is already underway in information space. Millions of fake news have overwhelmed Western social networks, newspapers and TV channels. At the same time they block access to Russian Internet and TV channels. In this atmosphere of general hysteria and madness it's difficult to distinguish the real facts from fakes. Also if you want to get the full picture it's good to listen to the other side of the story. In this regard I recommend you to join the biggest Russian social network VKontakte.

Hi Yury
My good thoughts go out to you.  It's a tough time right now.

I want to mention how much we love what you do and how awesome you've been here on permies.  It's easy to forget that it's people that matter.  Current events are just that - current and thus temporary.

Friendship lasts forever.

That's a lot of what we aim for here on permies.  Making things that last.

Yury, uncertain times indeed, so I have tell you how glad I am that you are a part of the Permies community.

I know some folks would disagree with me, but I think the western press/media lost a lot of credibility over the past couple of years by spinning everything as political. I'd rather hear what's going on in the lives of real people, of ordinary citizens who just want to live our lives quietly and peacefully with nature, with the land, and with one another. To me, that's the true reality.
