Winged elm in hugelkultur beds?

I've got a decent amount of winged elm to get rid of and would like to mulch it and put the larger branches in the bottom of my hugalkulture beds.
I've read that Siberian/Chinese Elm is allelopathic.
I haven't seen anything about winged elm but it's in the same family so wasn't sure.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

I know nothing about this elm being allelopathic.

I feel there are many different views on allelopathic wood.
