I'm trying to find information about pet safety and RMHs. The only thing I can find that mentions this is this podcast, but I have an auditory processing disorder and can't follow the conversation. Is there a transcript somewhere, or can someone summarize what is said?

Thanks.

We are working on getting transcripts. A few people have volunteered, but I think they probably got about five minutes into in and though "this is a lot of work!" and dropped it.

Podcast 001 has been transcribed.

Podcast 007 and 008 are on their way. I just need to get around to proof read them.

I merged your stuff with the following thread. I hope that is okay by you.

Heyhey!

Would transcriptions of the podcasts be something that might be wanted for the site/project? If so, I'd like to volunteer.

I got a headset (a really good one! I can understand the podcasts now, as long as the heater doesn't kick on and it's quiet outside)! - would transcriptions of the podcasts be something that might be useful? I know it would be useful for ME (my difficulty with them has been 1/2 hearing impairment and 1/2 auditory processing disorder; I've knocked out the one and having to go super slow in order to transcribe will take care of the other, and as long as I'm transcribing for myself, I might as well offer them for others who might find the info more useful in a text format than the current format. (And if this is already available some place I haven't found it, please, link me and I'll save myself the work! )

Hi Cait,

Lots of people have asked for transcripts! I imagine your transciptions would be most welcome!

In general, if we have transcripts, I think they are posted within the thread for each podcast in the paul wheaton's permaculture podcast forum. I did a quick search in that forum for the word 'transcript' and found these:

podcast 001 transcript - listener questions on saving energy
podcast 007 transcript - discussion with larry korn about masanobu fukuoka
podcast 008 transcript - beyond organic innovation
podcast 140 transcript - suburban permaculture in great fall, mt
podcast 162 transcript - berms and cherry tree intervention

One other thread discussed transcripts, podcast content feedback, (which is in the tinkering with this site forum, and I think it included other folks offering to help, too.

It's a start!

If I missed some transcripts that weren't announced with the word "transcript", perhaps someone could post a link here as well. AND if other permies staff have some suggestions or requests for transcript format specifics, let us know that, too.

Thanks for the offer to help!
