Not much of a rager myself, but it does feel good to beat a knotty piece of firewood into submission from time to time.  Maybe someone can figure a way to bring ragers and wood burners together?

Haha, I've been doing that forever. I don't go postal, I go woodpile.

There's always one sumbitch knot-filled stump that needs a pissed off male with an 8-lb splitting maul to break it up. Thus: anger diverted toward a useful task, sumbitch stump crackling in the wood stove, and a good sweaty workout for yours truly.

and that moment when the scowl really grows and you switch from maul to wedges and hammer? know it well.
