The pages on this forum seem to load and scroll much slower than other internet pages, and I suspect it is because of the videos on almost every page. When I save pages they are nice and tiny as they should be, and offline they are much nicer to read as they open and scroll more smoothly, though the color scheme is lost.
Can I set something in Firefox or my Permies profile to hide or block the videos?

You're welcome, good to hear it helped. Dunno if it is just my setup but since the last update to firefox, flashblock no longer works on youtube videos. Hope the plugin gets updated soon.

I think I updated Firefox just a couple weeks ago, and I think YouTubes are still blocked. It's Firefox 21.0. At least, the videos on this Permies pages are nicely blocked.
Now Adobe Flash keeps pestering me to update it.
