Here in France , I can get hold of walnuts quite cheaply even free but how do I go about getting Wallnut oil ?
Anyone any cheap plans for making a press or similar machine or know where I could buy one for a reasonable price.

presses are probably more effective, but mashing and boiling is also used to extract nut and seed oils by folks who don't have access to a press. strain the liquid, then collect the oil off the top.

I wonder if one could do an oil infusion or tincture and extract the yummy goodness too? I really hate over heating things that don't need to be. Heat and oxidation destroy so much good in our plants.
