I just listened to this Going To Seed podcast:

And so I naturally started looking for sources of Lathyrus tuberosus germplasm.

Over at Minnesota Wild Flowers, I found a sighting relatively near me, so this summer I can go dig some up if they're still there.

But I'm not seeing much in the way of places I can just buy either seeds or tubers.

So, do you know anywhere I can? (I probably need sources in the US, but feel free to list anything for other, future readers.) Do you grow this and have some seed or tuber to trade or sell? Or heck, do you know anything else interesting about it?

I see places that say they're hardy down to zone 6 and others that say zone 2-3. Seems like a weird discrepancy.

Here's a couple of other videos, just for extra info:

I've looked for these growing near the Home Depot where they were reported on that web site, both last year and this year and haven't found them.

While wild sourcing is always good, especially if grown in your area, I did find a supplier if you are interested:

https://sheffields.com/seeds-for-sale/Lathyrus/tuberosus/698433/Tuberous-Sweetpea/Tuberous-Sweetpea

Unfortunately the supplier says it is hardy to Zone 6 with a ? mark.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
