Lamb Mowers in Fairfax Virginia

Cory Suter, a permaculturist from northern Virginia, is doing it. He brings his sheep to people's lawns to mow and fertilize them. There is a Washington Post article about him. His website is LambMowers

We had hoped our two jacob sheep would eat the bermuda grass in our garden along with the other clean up but they noticablly did not touch it.

My grandma brought two sheep with her for that when they moved from the farm to a house in town in the fifties.  They were sweet and very picturesque along with the white picket fence and did the job. I'm not sure she and grandpa ever had a lawn mower, I think it was always sheep

She was an early follower of Rodale and subscriber to Prevention and Organic Gardening magazines.

I like how the sheep are an attraction in themselves.  People seem to improve their mental health by hanging out with the sheep.  Maybe there is something we don't quite understand yet about the overall benefits of cuteness, sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and holistic solutions.
