Don't you just love it when a new seed company comes along? "She grows veg" has been on instagram a while, and has resulted in a new seed company - open pollinated heritage varieties. I saw an article about them winning a gold medal at Chelsea, so that has got them a good start:
I had a look at their website and they do have nice looking veg! Check out these carrots!!
The price seems a little high for non organic seeds, but I didn't check out all the pack sizes so they may be OK.
From the website:
Lucy is famous for growing wonderful heirloom veg seeds and has had so many enquiries about where she buys her rare and unusual seed varieties, much of which is unavailable in the UK. With Kate’s business brain on board, the two started She Grows Veg Heirloom seed company.
Nancy, Very interesting to see so many tomato, pepper, and eggplant seed stocks sold from them.....for the UK grower?? Are these grown mostly in greenhouse conditions or do they grow to maturity outdoors in the south of the UK? Great looking group and goals....!

Hi John. I would certainly need protection to grow any of those crops outside, we just don't have the warmth here. However in the South, particularly SE England they can all be grown outside. Tomatoes are probably the easiest and eggplants (we would call them aubergines) are probably the most difficult. All would still be better in a greenhouse. They would almost certainly need to be started in heat undercover as well, since the warm part of the summer is generally a bit short even there.
I did manage to grow tomatoes outside in the midlands, but got a bit of blight, so better out of the rain! Looking forwards to maybe having my new tunnel up this summer, but I don't think it will be in time to grow much.
